Nigerian Army introduces trained dogs to fight terrorism

The Nigerian Army has introduced the use of dogs to
assist fight terrorism in the country.  The dogs are trained to detect explosives and narcotics, also they will perform tracking and guard duties.  About 40 officials have been trained on dog handling techniques in some of the best canine institutes in the worlds while another batch of 25 are currently undergoing training in US.

Hmmmm, not a bad idea but we ought to have been using this a long time ago.
