So sad! Goldie is dead

So sad! Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey popularly known as Goldie is dead. Goldie died in the presence of popular Lagos-based entertainer, Denrele Edun, who was in the hospital with her.

Correspondent tried to reach Edun but his phone was switched off.

A call was also put through to another artiste, Essence, also on the Kennis Music label as Goldie, she confirmed the incident, as she wept bitterly.

Reporters arrived at Reddington hospital at about few minutes to midnight. Unfortunately they were not granted access into the hospital premises. 

Kennis Music label boss Kenny ‘Keke’ Ogungbe, his younger brother ID Ogungbe, Goldie’s close friend Denrele Edun, former Big Brother winners Uti Nwachukwu, Karen Igho and STV presenter Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere were inside the hospital building.

 

At about 12:47 AM, Goldie’s corpse was loaded into a black Mercedes Benz 4matic SUV. The Benz along with four other cars headed straight to the General Hospital, Ikeja morgue.

The body arrived at the General Hospital exactly 01:20 AM. At about 02:07AM, the corpse was dislodged at the Lekan Ogunsola Memorial House of the Ikeja General Hospital.
