'Danfo' drivers and conductors to be in uniforms from January next year!

                                           

In line with the provision of the new traffic law, the Lagos State Government says commercial bus drivers and conductors will begin to wear uniforms and badges as from January 2013.

Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Kayode Opeifa disclosed this at the weekend at a sensitisation programme for transporters on the new Road Traffic Law at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Secretariat, Alausa in Ikeja, Lagos.

Thousands of transporters converged at the Auditorium and were sensitized on the rules of the new traffic law.

Well, not a bad idea at all I must say.
