The 24-year-old popstar cut a downcast figure as she headed into a Los Angeles recording studio alone on Tuesday night.

The Diamonds star could barely raise a smile as she headed in for a late night of working.

For her productive evening, Rihanna also wore one of her most low-key outfits to date.

Rihanna and Chris have not been seen together for just under two weeks after being spotted cuddling up to one another at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in New York at the beginning of October.

Chris has since split up with his girlfriend Karreuche Tran, seemingly to make way for his relationship with Rihanna.
